Are You Ready for Aruba?

Are you ready to relax and get away from the everyday stress?  Are you ready to soak in the sun and curl your toes in the sand?  Are you ready to appreciate the sound of exotic birds, or the wind whistling through the entrance of a cave, or the waves crashing against the rocks?  Then Aruba is the place to consider.  Aruba is a Caribbean island, located 18 miles from Venezuela’s coast, but actually influenced under the Kingdom of the Netherlands.  If that isn’t unique enough, it’s an island where cactus and palm trees grow.  Aruba really has become a place famous for offering the best of tourist attractions and natural beauty.

On the island of Aruba, there is all the luxury of resorts with casinos and spas and golf, but there is also all the adventures of water sports in the seas and natural pools, and exploration by foot or by off-road vehicles through canyons and grottos.  Among the places to stay when in Aruba there are many time-share and low-rise places, but on the high-rise strip there is a Marriott, Radisson, and a Hyatt Regency, all with exquisite resort facilities and casinos.  Further from the beaches, but clearly the place for golf, is the Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa and Country Club, with an 18-hole championship course created by Robert Trent Jones II.  When it comes to wildlife sightseeing, there are coral reefs to explore, bird sanctuaries, donkey sanctuaries, ostrich farms, butterfly farms and more species easily found at the Arikok National Park.   There is also much to discover within the landscape of rock formations, caves, sand dunes, and offshore islands.  Aruba is a place many await to hear Bon bini (that’s “welcome” in the native language of Papiamento)!
