Travel to England

Traveling England is a trip back in time. First, choose your places to visit. Of course, you will want to see Buckingham Palace. However, since you can't get close enough to see the changing of the guard very well, you might want to spend your time seeing something else.

Avoid the tourist traps such as Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Also, skip Sherwood Forest and Nottingham, as the forest is almost gone and has no authentic Robin Hood themes. Another place is Tintagel Castle, the alleged site of Camelot and King Arthur. A better place to visit would be Glastonbury.

A must-see is Stonehenge, where the large stone monuments are quite impressive. However, you cannot walk up and touch them unless you visit at Avebury.

Glastonbury, as mentioned before, is where you will learn about King Arthur, Camelot and Avalon. Also, you will hear about Christianity in ancient times. You can also visit Wells Cathedral. Another attraction here is Cheddar Mendip, where you can see them make cheese.

Travel to Bath where you can visit the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge, all while taking in the beautiful English countryside.

Then, in London you will want to visit Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Tower of London, Harrah's, the Millennium Wheel and all the beautiful flower gardens around. A good way to do this is to take a double-decker bus and hop on and off at the different sites you want to investigate. If you still have time, take a trip to see the White Cliffs of Dover.

Bed and breakfast establishments are a good bargain, as the hotels are quite expensive.
